Your favorite Champaign-Urbana roller derby home teams are BACK! Twin City Derby Girls are kicking off the 2016 home team rivalry season on August 20th and will continue a regular competitive season that will end with a championship game on December 10, 2016.
The teams will be made up of both veteran skaters who you know and love and have cheered for in previous home team seasons, as well as newer skaters that have been drafted to each team.

12/3 Damagin’ Dames vs. The ‘Paign 12/10 Home Team Championship Game
All games will be held at McKinley Aquatic Center (500 W. Church St., Champaign IL). Doors will open at 6pm, first whistle is at 7pm. Seating is limited, so bring the whole family and show up early to get the best seats. Season tickets do not guarantee any specific seats; all seating is general admission.

Hendrick House Catering will be on-site serving up delicious snacks and beverages (must be 21+ with ID for alcohol sales).
A portion of proceeds raised will go to our community partner for 2016, Avicenna Community Health Center. They will also be on site so stop by their booth to learn more about their mission to change lives in our community.
Avicenna Community Health Center (ACHC) is an award winning, not-for-profit, interfaith health clinic. Avicenna provides high quality, culturally competent preventative and curative healthcare for free to the uninsured and underinsured adult residents of Champaign County, Illinois. Since 2010, this almost entirely volunteer run clinic has provided over 2500 patient visits. We are very excited about our community partnership with Twin City Derby Girls and hope to work together to promote access to health care and community health in Champaign-Urbana.
